The Audioroot µPRE is a small, lightweight, high quality microphone preamplifier designed for ENG/EFP or musical production. It can be operated with 2 x 9V batteries or an external power supply via a switchcraft locking connector. It will add 2 mic inputs to your recorder or mixer via balanced or un-balanced inputs. The wide range trims offers perfect control of the audio level. The Audioroot µPRE is a high end professionnal microphone preamp but of very simple use. This equipement is built with the best available components in yet a very small package. It's excellent technical and sonic specifications make it compatible with the best available microhpones. The Audioroot µPRE was designed to be used with portable mixers and SSD or D-t-d recorders.

Smart lithium batteries

Each Audioroot battery embeds a micro controler which handles and records the main parameters of the battery such as : identification, type of elements, cycle count, build date, serial numbers and many other parameters. The micro controller monitors the battery's status and behaviour (power consumption, temperature, voltage, etc...) and communicates with the charger to improve the charging process and therefore battery life.. When used with a smart fuel gauge like the eSMART BG the battery delivers all informations regarding it's SoC (state of charge) and the power consumption of the powered equipement with a very high accuracy.

eSMART BG-DU

The eSMART BG-DU is a compact DC power distribution box with 8 polyswitch fuse protected outputs, 3 latching switches and a complete fuel gauge. This product was specially designed for use in large sound bags or small carts. It can be connected to any battery (Li-ion, Ni-mh or SLA) and shows the system's voltage, current, power, etc ... The eSMART BG-DU features a very precise coulomb counter and calibration system to monitor the SOC (State Of Charge) of any type battery. The eSMART BG-DU is also fully compatible with our Li-XXWh smart battery range.

Power adaptor for lithium battery with fuel gauge

The Audioroot eSMART BG-D is an ultra-small, DC power distribution box with 4 protected outputs and a colorfull fuel gauge designed for ENG sound bags. The fuel gauge displays important parameters like current, voltage, remaining capacity, etc... All cables enter and exit from the bottom of the box yielding a much smaller footprint in your bag. The eSMART BG-D has a smart DC input cable and four DC outs all on rugged Switchcraft 712 locking connectors. Each output is protected with a 2.5 amp resettable fuse. The eSMART BG-DH is the same power adaptor as the eSMART BG-D but with high quality industry standard Hirose connectors.

vmDBOX

Power distributor for sound bag with built-in voltmeter

Audioroot can also provide power distribution solutions for standard battery configurations. The vmDBOX is a small power distributor that can be used to power up to 6 devices with a single battery. A small voltmeter is integrated on the face plate to help the user monitor the battery's SoC (state of charge). The vmDBOX can also be used as a DC ouput extender for the eSMART BG-D or eSMART BG-DH. The vmDBOX is available with Switchcraft 760 locking connectors or industry standard Hirose locking connectors ( vmDBOX-HRS )

eSMART BPA

Audioroot offers multiple battery connection solutions for it�€™s eSMART battery range. The eSMART BPA is a power adapter that allows the user to connect up to 4 different portable equipements to the same battery. 2 switches are assigned to the 4 outputs and a battery gauge like the eSMART BG can be connected to the power adaptor via a serial connector. Simple power cables can be used for smaller budgets or when only one equipement needs to be powered from the battery. Many standard cable configurations are available (Hirose, XLR, etc...) and custom cables can be built according to the customer�€™s specifications.

eSMART 42-DH

Battery powered digital microphone supply

The AUDIOROOT eSMART 42-DH is a battery powered box for 10-volt digital phantom powering (DPP). It is suitable for powering digital microphones like the SCHOEPS SuperCMIT digital shotgun microphone or CMD 2 U digital microphone amplifier. This powering box is compatible with our full range of li-ion smart batteries. A 37Wh battery can power a SuperCMIT for more than 18 hours. The eSMART 42-DH can also act as a power distributor using the 2 Hirose female connectors located on the rear face plate. These 2 polyswitch protected outputs can be used to power a portable digital recorder/mixer or any other device (wireless receiver, microphone preamplifier, etc...).
